Product Information

Poor weight gain, lack of condition and most important………. Lack of Energy.

Poor weight gain is a condition where our birds fail to thrive in spite of being fed what may seem to be a normal diet.

Excellent for Racing, Showing, Moulting and Breeding.

There are several reasons why our birds might be in poor condition, it is possible our birds could have;

A poor immune system…. an imbalance of vitamins and minerals in its diet….an un-diagnosed low grade infection….a slow digestive system that is not absorbing all of its nutrients….an imbalance ratio of concentrates and roughage….an incomplete metabolism of glucose and fluctuations in glucose levels….a change to its feed regime….exposed to dust in lofts and fungal spores carried in the air causing bronchial conditions and infections….a nervous disorder…..or a mouth infection.

These are just some of the problems our birds could be encountering.

Why maintaining our birds body condition is so important.

Being underweight is unhealthy for our birds and can reduce their athletic and reproductive performance. If a bird does not receive enough energy in its diet for a long period of time it will begin to lose body condition because its stored fat will be burned for energy.

When our birds loose body condition and become thin any physical activity will be greatly reduced.

How can we address this problem?

As with any condition you are not sure about it must be addressed by a veterinary first followed by a diet high in recuperative antioxidants and plant substances that address the targeted problem.

A poor immune system can be maintained by using a good herbal supplement and with our Condition Enhancer that has been designed to aid and maintain good healthy skin and feather quality on your birds and keeping them looking in superb showing condition.

When racing.

As with any competitive animal or bird during competition it needs that added energy stored in its body that will get burned off during the race, not only will it finish a race stronger it will recuperate much better enabling you to prepare for the next race ahead.

Designed to help maintain a good racing weight, keep condition on and provide extra energy for race day.

Ingredients

Vegetable oil, Linseed oil, Refined Hemp Seed Oil, Borage seed oil.

Hempseed oil; The hemp plant is harvested for its fibre’s, seed, seed meal and seed oil. Hemp is a distinct variety of the plant species cannabis sativa L. Due to the similar leaf shape, hemp is frequently confused with marijuana. Although both plants are from the species cannabis, hemp contains virtually no THC (delta-9-TetraHydroCannabinol), the active ingredient in marijuana. Hemp cannot be used as a drug because it produces virtually no THC

Action; Hemp seed oil that is used for cosmetics and skin care products contains a high amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids), which makes it an important ingredient in anti-inflammatory skin care formulations.

Flaxseed oil; Flax is an annual herb with narrow grey-green leaves and sky-blue round flowers which appear in summer. Spherical capsules containing the shiny, oval and flat seeds follow the flowers.

Action; Flaxseed oil is derived from the seeds of the flax plant. Flaxseed oil and flaxseed contain substances that promote good health. One of these substances is alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential fatty acid that appears to be beneficial for heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, and other health conditions.

Borage; Has thick soft stems and large leaves, both of which are covered in fine bristly hairs. The flowers are star-shaped and a vivid sky blue, although an occasional pink bloom does appear (there is also a rare species with white flowers). The blooms are full of nectar and are a source of food for bees.

Action; Helps cleanse the skin from the inside, as it is suggested that borage helps purify the system.
