Poor weight gain is a condition where our animals fail to thrive in spite of being fed what may seem to be a normal diet.
There are several reasons why our animals might be in poor condition, it is possible they could have;
A poor immune system…. an imbalance of vitamins and minerals in its diet….an un-diagnosed low grade infection….a slow digestive system that is not absorbing all of its nutrients….an imbalance ratio of concentrates and roughage….an incomplete metabolism of glucose and fluctuations in glucose levels….a change to its feed regime….exposed to dust and fungal spores carried in the air causing bronchial conditions and infections….a nervous disorder…..or a mouth infection.
These are just some of the problems our animals could be encountering.
Why maintaining our animal body condition is so important.
Being underweight can be unhealthy and reduce any athletic and reproductive performance. If your animal does not receive enough energy in its diet for a long period of time it will begin to lose body condition because its stored fat will be burned for energy.
When they lose body condition and become thin any physical activity will be greatly reduced.
How can we address this problem?
As with any condition you are not sure about it must be addressed by a veterinary first followed by a diet high in recuperative antioxidants and plant substances that address the targeted problem.

Shake bottle well, loosen cap and gently squeeze until measure is in gauge then either mix with feed or syringe orally.
Do not mix with water.
Small/Medium pet 5ml twice a day morning and evening for 30 days.
Medium/Large pet 10ml twice a day morning and evening for 30 days.
Thereafter feed every other day.
Once the effect has built up in your animals system you can adjust the dosage to your own observation.

Hempseed oil; This plant is harvested for its fibre’s, seeds, seed meal and seed oil. Hemp is a distinct variety of the plant species Cannabis Sativa L. Due to its leaf shape hemp is often confused with Marijuana, although both plants are from the species Cannabis hemp contains virtually no THC (TetraHydroCannabinol) which is the active ingredient in Marijuana. Hemp cannot be used as a drug because it produces virtually no THC.
Actions; Is used for cosmetics and skin care products, it contains a high amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids which make it an important ingredient in anti-inflammatory and skin care formulations.
Flaxseed oil; Flax is a plant with narrow grey-green leaves and sky blue round flowers that appear in summer. Spherical capsules containing the shiny oval and flat seeds follow the flowers.
Actions; Flaxseed oil is derived from the seeds of the flax plant. Flaxseed oil and flaxseeds contain substances that promote good health. One of the substances is alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) that is an essential fatty acid that appears to be beneficial for heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis and many other health conditions.
Borage; Has thick soft stems with large leaves both are covered in fine bristly hairs. The flowers are star shaped with a sky-blue and sometime pink colour. The blooms are full of nectar and are a major source of food for bees.
